Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter is Planning an African Sojourn

Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter and a Billionaire, is one of the busiest people in the world with the work of Payments Processor Square too. Amidst all his business, he spent the entire month of November in Africa, mainly to interact and meet with potential entrepreneurs. Further, Dorsey also publicly announced that he wanted to spend around half of the next year in Africa too. The man tweeted that he was upset because he had to leave so early this time. Along with that, he praised the development happening on the continent, saying that Africa had a lot of potentials. He further added that Africa is going to define the business world in the future, especially with the knowledge of Bitcoins. During his recent trip, he traveled along Ethiopia, South Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana.

Following Jack Dorsey’s tweet, the media went berserk and wanted to know more about the matter. However, the spokesperson of Twitter San Francisco refused to comment about anything. Dorsey’s achievements inspire the entire industry. People are in awe of how a single man is handling not one but two big brands such as Square and Twitter. Dorsey is also the co-founder of Twitter along with Biz Stone, Noah Glass, and Ev Williams in 2006. Dorsey remained the CEO till the time he was ousted in 2008.

Further, Dorsey was also the co-founder of Square alongside McKelvey in 2009. The platform was made public finally in 2015. Dorsey’s estimated fortune is about $4.5 Billion.

You can read about Jack Dorsey all over the internet, and the tycoon holds about 18-20 Million shares on Twitter. His shares cost even more than the current total price of all of them together. The 43-year old businessman has further acquired almost $50 Million worth of A-class shares of Square.  However, on Dorsey’s request, both Twitter and Square pay him a salary in the form of a token.
